You have the right to delete your Swellea account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains the options available to you and what happens after a deletion request.

Option 1 — Delete from the App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Swellea mobile app:

  1. Open the Swellea app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
  3. Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  5. Read the confirmation screen, then tap Confirm Deletion.
  6. Enter your password to confirm your identity.

Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request by Email

If you cannot access the app, send an email from the email address registered with your account to:

Include: your full name, the email registered on your account, and (optionally) the reason for deletion.

We will verify your identity and confirm your request within 5 business days, and complete deletion within 30 days of confirmation.

What Data We May Retain

Some information must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons. This data is stored securely and only used for those purposes:

Account Owners with Active Bookings

If you have upcoming lessons, active rentals, or pending payouts, you should cancel or complete them before deleting your account. School owners who have active bookings or instructors associated with their school should transfer ownership or close their school before deleting.

Reversibility

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your data is deleted, we cannot restore your profile, history, or bookings. You are welcome to create a new account at any time, but it will start fresh.

App Store & Play Store Subscriptions

Deleting your Swellea account does not automatically cancel paid subscriptions managed by Apple or Google. To cancel a subscription, please use your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
